九大の解答例を貼りたかったが、コピペが出来ず、代わりに北大を貼ってみた
九大も北大と同程度の記述量

英語で理解し、英語で表現するのはそのとおりですが、英語で考えるのは違うでしょう。英語で考えるには、単語一つ一つの意味を正確に概念として把握していること、目に見えない抽象的な事柄を自由に表現できること、その言語がもつ文化的な背景を理解していること、が必要になりますが、ネイティブでない日本人がそんなことできますか。
そもそも日本語で考えるから日本人としてのアイデンティティを意識できるのであって、自国のアイデンティティをもたない人は国際社会では相手にされませんよ。

あの和訳で思考力とか言っているのは、偏差値50台の大学のレベル。

つまり他の旧帝大とは、レベルに開きがあるということなんですよ。
超えられない大きな壁という奴が。
指定国立大学から外れるのは妥当です。
