もう少し捕捉しますけど、小室さんが眞子さまと結婚したとしても「皇族」にはなれません。親王と結婚した場合の女性配偶者は「皇族」ですが、内親王と結婚した男性配偶者は、「皇族」ではありません。

第15条　皇族以外の者及びその子孫は、女子が皇后となる場合及び皇族男子と婚姻する場合を除いては、皇族となることがない。

ここでいう「子孫」に男嫡・女嫡系についての定めはありませんから、「皇族」である眞子さまのお子さまは、「皇族」で差し支えないことになります。従い、仮に眞子さまに何かあった場合、小室さんに宮家継承資格はないけれども、そのお子さまにはある、と言う解釈です。

I don't understand how he/she reach that conclusion. Is he talking about the alternate universe where females could pass down throne inheritance or royal status and article 1 didn't exist?
